As Sun shifts to Aquarius it leaves behind Mars and Mercury in a pure Samsaptak yoga in Capricorn and Cancer. Mars is already retrograde in Cancer and is showing its volatile destructive results on all humanity. In Capricorn, Mercury was earlier supported by Sun, representing the Governance and control, but now it faces its arch enemy Mars full on.

IT sector will have some serious ups and downs till Mercury stays in Makar. This shifty and lightweight planet will enter Aquarius on 26th February 2010. There was some news about the restriction policies on websites by the Indian government yesterday. The ban on some websites was found to be imposed without following proper legal process. Some amendments in the IT related laws too have been made in India recently.

I had put the banking sector too in the list of areas which will be affected by the Mercury transit in Capricorn. There have been some tussles going on related to the increase in interest rates and other such interest related issues between the Reserve Bank of India and other Indian Banks. We hope that this issues will be sorted out when Budh leaves this Samsaptak and enters Aquarius.
