Sunil Rao asks: Dear Ashutosh, I request your advice. I am seeking a change in my career for a Global/International Assignment. Will this happen in the next 2-3 months? When will I get a better job and will this be for the better? My details- 27.12.1962, 4.45 Pm, Bangalore, India.

Astrologer Ashutosh: Mr Sunil! You have entered the favorable dasha period of Rahu-Shukra two months ago. This good phase which is beneficial for career growth will go on for next three years. The upward movement in career is about to happen in next two months. Income also increases considerably at the same time.

Take health precautions in the month of August 2010 but keep on your efforts for the improvement in career. You will get the job you desire in first two weeks of September 2010. But, the month of August can be quite testing and stressful regarding your present occupation. A lot of patience and perseverance must be practiced by you to overcome these difficulties.

The problems can arise without warning and they may escalate to great heights too. One reason could be the unsatisfactory performance of work by your immediate superior at workplace. Also, keep an eye on the safety and health of your children and other dependents and your employees at home and workplace.

Some remedies and suggestions:

1. Avoid wearing Red in clothes in the month of August 2010. At other times avoid wearing yellow when you go to your office. Wear more of Blue, Green, Grey and Black.

2. Keep fasts on Thursdays for next one year.

3. Wear a White Sapphire in silver ring on ring finger of right hand. The sapphire must be at least 6 carats in weight.

4. Test a Blue Sapphire (Neelam) by tying it in a blue cloth on your upper arm for a week. If everything feels normal or better then wear the Neelam in a silver ring on your middle finger. In case the Neelam gives bad feelings while testing it then try a different Neelam for testing. If the second Neelam also gives similar negative feelings then do not wear any Neelam ever.
