The celestial shadowy serpent has moved houses today with its head, Rahu, leaving Kanya and entering Simha, and its tail, Ketu, leaving Meen and entering Kumbh. This transition of Rahu-Ketu from dual natured signs to fixed signs has happened in the early hours today. These two chhaya grahas Rahu and Ketu will stay in this Leo-Aquarius axis till 18th August 2017 and will then enter the movable signs Cancer and Capricorn. Rahu and Ketu will be in Kendra with Shani, which is in transit in Scorpio, till 26th January 2017. Mars joins Shani in Vrishchik on 20th February 2016 and will stay there till 18th September 2016. Mangal will be with Ketu in Kumbh from 11th December 2016 to 20th January 2017. The Rahu-Shani yoga in mutual fourth-tenth placement from each other is not favorable for common masses. It causes great economic losses, famines, unrest and war. If we throw in Mars too in this combination then the chances of large scale war and resulting destruction are greatly enhanced. This transit of Rahu in Simha is not going to be peaceful for mankind. For India, this transit is going to happen in the fourth-tenth houses axis, Rahu in fourth house and Ketu in tenth. Sudden and intense problems will trouble the government and the ruling party will face the most damage to its credibility. Internal unrest will increase. The chances of riots on basis of religious and communal reasons are very high. The government will resort to harsh measures to control the damages which will in turn harm the democratic freedom and the economic progress of the nation. Real estate will go through a really bad phase as Rahu is transiting in the fourth house which governs real estate. The effect of this transit of Rahu in Simha and Ketu in Kumbh on the twelve moon signs and ascendants will be as follows – 1. Aries – Mesh: Difficulties in educational pursuits; worries related to health and behaviour of children; sudden and big monetary gains; difficulties in profession. 2. Taurus – Vrishabh: Unexpected problems and changes in profession; worries related to property and residence; health problems related to heart and lungs; parents’ health increases concerns. 3. Gemini – Mithun: More stability but increased burden of work in profession; trouble in relations with siblings; gains from foreign business and travels; better health. 4. Cancer – Karka: Increase in family problems; difficulties related to investments, banking and taxation; health problems related to eyes, ears, teeth, hair, skin and intestines; increase in worries about income and savings. 5. Leo – Simha: Decrease in problems related to family and relatives; increased focus on health and well being; problems in marriage and love life; end of existing partnerships in business and formation of new ones; better income; better savings. 6. Virgo – Kanya: Health problems related to heart, urinary system, skin and liver; problems in relations with parents and siblings; legal hassles; financial worries and difficulties related to taxation; frequent and short term travels; increase in useless expenses. 7. Tula – Libra: Increase in the circle of friends and acquaintances; more worries about income; increased hunger for more income; extremes in relations with friends and siblings; troubles related to health and behaviour of children; good progress in studies. 8. Scorpio – Vrishchik: Financial worries end but professional anxieties and ambitions increase; increased burden of work; stress at workplace; confusing and stressful relations with superiors at work; change of residence; less hassles related to property. 9. Sagittarius – Dhanu: Long distance travels, both domestic and foreign; gains from work related to foreign nations; increase in confidence; more clear cut and well defined relations with siblings; more focus on health. 10. Capricorn – Makar: Health problems related to urinary system, kidneys, nervous system, eyes, teeth and ears; less worries about savings and investments; sudden monetary gains from unexpected sources. 11. Aquarius – Kumbh: Problems in married life and love life; difficulties and lack of trust in business partnerships; health problems related to lower back, genitals, digestion and urinary system; good progress in profession; good financial gains. 12. Pisces – Meen: Health problems related to liver, sugar, skin, eyes, ears and allergies; sleep disorders; increase in expenses and losses; problems in profession; increase in burden of debt; troubles from unwanted rivals and competitors.
