Brihaspati moves from Vrishabh rashi to Mithun rashi on 14th May 2025. Jupiter will transit in Gemini till 2nd June 2026 with a small stay in Cancer from 18th October 2025 to 5th December 2025. Saturn is already in Pisces and Rahu- Ketu are moving to Kumbh-Simha placement on 18th May 2025. These planets will remain in these new placements only during this 2025-26 transit of Guru in Mithun. Other grahas will keep moving to different signs during this period. Mithun is an air-sign and has a dual-nature. Jupiter has caused a lot of disturbance and instability whenever it has transited in Gemini.

Jupiter has a 12 year cycle and it comes back to the same sign after a gap of approximately twelve years. The last time Guru was in Mithun rashi was from 31st May 2013 to 19th June 2014. The next gochar of Brihaspati in Mithun rashi, after this 2025-26 transit will be in 2036, 2037 and 2038 in three parts-

Jupiter in Gemini has always been disruptive for India. It has brought about political turmoil, instability, calamities, power shift, revolutions, protests, riots, terrorist attacks, massacres and even war. Some examples -

- Jallianwala massacre in 1918-1919

- Civil Disobedience movement, salt satyagraha, martyrdom of Chandrasekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and others, in 1930-31.

- 2001-02 - Terrorist attack on Indian parliament; Narendra Modi becomes the Chief Minister of Gujarat state in India; 1000s are killed in Gujarat riots.

- 2013-14 - Kedarnath Flash floods kill thousands in Uttarakhand in India; Indian National Congress is defeated in general elections, BJP comes to power with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.

This 2025-26 transit of Jupiter in Gemini will bring unprecedented changes, troubles, instability and calamities in the world with India being the most affected. With Saturn transiting in the dual sign Pisces and Rahu-Ketu in the Kumbh-Simha axis, and, with India entering Mars Mahadasha in September 2025, things are going to be really difficult. High intensity natural and man-made calamities, riots, terrorist attacks, economic problems and war-like situations are very much possible in this 2025-26 transit of Brihaspati in Mithun Rashi.
