Normally every gem can produce good or bad results depending on the placement of the related planet in the horoscope. The reason being that every Neelam has its own hidden good or bad results. It is a very sensitive gem and it takes on the negative or positive energies of the people through whose hands it has come to the final possessor.

It is true that if a Neelam suits a person then it can take the person's wealth, fame, prosperity and name to great heights. It can also do the reverse if it does not suit a person or if the individual Neelam carries some hidden negative energies. So, a Neelam should never be worn in a hurry simply out of curiosity or whim.
