The quick-footed planet, Mercury, is going to end its long transit in Aries (Mesh) tomorrow, 6th June 2010. It had entered Mesh on 30th March 2010 and then had gone retrograde in this sign of its arch enemy, Mars. It will enter its friendly sign Taurus (Vrishabh) which is a sign owned by its natural friend Venus.

Budh's previous transit in Vrishabh was from 5th June 2009 to 30th June 2009. This year it will stay in Taurus from 6th June 2010 to 22nd June 2010. This will be a direct and normal motion of Mercury. Then, in 2011 it will re-enter Taurus to stay in it from 30th May 2011 to 14th June 2011.

Taurus is a fixed sign which nurtures growth and encourages the material gains and comforts. Mercury too gets in the same mood when it transits Taurus. Unlike the blunt straightforward nature in Aries, Budh becomes diplomatic, soft spoken and mild mannered in Taurus. In business and industrial sectors it will encourage business in automotive industry, telecom, govt owned industries and agro-industries.

Mercury will join Sun in Taurus which has been in transit there since 15th May 2010. These two planets form a powerful and undiluted Budh-Aditya yoga in Taurus which will be in force till Surya leaves Taurus on 15th June 2010. Budh-Aditya yoga makes the native sweet mannered, a good orator, sharp minded, wise and fortunate. Children born between 6th to 15th June 2010 will have this yoga in their horoscopes. Mercury will be highly influenced by Surya's dominance and discipline during this period.

From 15th June to 22nd June 2010, when Budh leaves Vrishabh, it will be transiting alone in Taurus devoid of any aspect (Drishti) from any other planet.
